Last week to this week!

Everything is still alive and well.
We've come close to a frost but so far we're good.

The sun was back lighting the trees leaves and they look as though they are golden yellow already but it was just for a few minutes.
Today there was fog and a hint of smoke from a wood fire burning- very pretty start
to the day!

I hope your weekend will be great!
Our average temperatures are in the mid 60's during the day and the upper 30's at night.
There are signs of the leaves turning and
I believe we will be in full color in the next two weeks!

Toodles!!

  2. That looks like the pathway to Heaven, Liz. How gorgeous your garden is. I love visiting here. I can't believe it has gotten into the 30's already. We are still mild and very muggy, today lots of rain. xo

  6. Our temps are similar but fall is here and the fall colors are here too...not as green in my garden...I adore your garden and the woods.

  7. Your garden is so lovely and your photos are beautiful Liz. It's hard to believe you are having temps in the 30's at night. Fall is different here, every year...it just depends on the summer weather. Our summer was really hot with lots of rain, so who knows what we're going to get. I'm enjoying our cooler temps with low humidity and am hoping we have a cold winter with lots of freezes so we can get rid of the mosquitoes. Our wonderfully mild winter last year made for an abundance of mosquitoes this past summer.
Looking forward to your Fall color photos.
