A Summertime Tablescape! (T)

Greetings to all!  It's been a while since I posted but I decided to jump right into
A Summertime Tablescape!  I intend to be joyous about summer!  I know technically it's not summer but to me it is!

I had picked up this lovely bouquet last week and it's still going strong!  I freshened it all up this morning for the tablescape.

Since I had chosen this crystal vase I decided on these glasses to reflect the look.

I chose these plates (Pier 1- Botanical Gardens) for their summery look and layered them on a Bordallo Pienheiro Grape vine white plates.  The placemats are butterflies and the napkins  (Pier 1) are double sided with stripes and flowers.

The sun was streaming in and accented the table beautifully.  It acted as illumination underneath and created a very summery look!

If I had a gazebo this is a table setting I'd create just for it!

I picked up this Vera tablecloth several years ago at Macy's.  I really love the artwork!

Happy sunny summery days to you all!

Gone Plaid for Roosters (T)

I've gone plaid for roosters!

My centerpiece is a combination of a faux planter of sunflowers (from Pier 1 last year)...

...and a MacKenzie  Childs courtly check enameled pedestal platter turned upside down.

I was pleasantly surprised that the pedestal and the flower pot matched in size perfectly!

I continued with the plaid theme with my napkins drawing on some green found in the pedestal platter.

Napkin rings from Pier 1 (several years ago) added to the cozy appeal of this table.

 Brunch anyone?

One of my favorite stemware pieces called Trellis (by Fitz & Floyd) seemed perfect for this table setting.

I kept the dishware simple with a black edged plate (got them from Horchow several years back and they are labeled CMG made in Portugal) layered on top of the Pier 1 chargers and framed by bamboo silverware from Horchow.

The Backyard Rooster (from April Cornell) features various roosters and a small pompom on each corner.  (They have an oblong on sale for a very reasonable price "here")

As you can see my backyard is in full bloom.  We are enjoying such a great summer up here.

So that's a wrap with my
Gone Plaid for Roosters!

Under The Sea Dining Adventure (T)

Please join me for a special dining experience!

Let's move in closer.

We have the fresh catch of the day!

A floating center piece of fish netting filled with seashells, starfish and...

sea creatures!

Even a whale has decided to float by and check us out!  🐳

A lovely mermaid is sharing her beautiful pearls.  She invites us to dress up with them!

The coral starfish was from Kohl's.  They have a lot of sets on-line that you don't find in the store.

These came from Cracker Barrel

Napkins and seahorse napkins rings from Pier 1 as well as the aqua placemat.

Layering colors and textures...

I love how these aqua seahorses show off beautifully on the light coral napkin!

More beautiful blue and green ocean colors.
Bormioli Rocco Bahia stemware.

I created a little background accent too!

I also used many of these accents in a tablescape last year you can visit "here".  It's a good one 😉

A little addition of reindeer moss fills in for aquatic plant life.  🐙

Late summer dining...ahh

Thank you for joining me.  I hope you enjoyed this Under The Sea Dining Adventure!
