A Stroll Down the Easter Parade!

I'm starting my Easter decorating with a parade!

This was last year's find, an FAO Schwarz bicycle with bunnies!

I found another this year that I couldn't resist!  The tall Easter bunny was from last year and has a nice basket in the back.

An Easter egg tree with hand painted eggs.  I believe the tree and eggs came from Pier 1 a while back.  I do miss the store.

These three young bunnies will soon be carrying out duties like their parents, delivering Easter eggs!

I got this bunny this year.  Loved the violas!

She's actually a cookie jar but I wanted her as a statue so she is!

Love the pretty painted eyes.  The pair is from Fitz & Floyd from many years ago from a group called Poppies.

Her eyes are pretty too!  From Home Goods.

Thank you for joining me as we take a Stroll Down the Easter Parade!

St. Patrick's Day Dining (T)

Happy  St. Patrick's Day to all!

Each year I try to do something different for my St. Patrick's Day tablescape.  So I've assembled pieces I've used in the past and some I haven't!  I've got Shamrock's, Gold Coins and Leprechaun hats!  That should bring some good luck to us!

There are shamrock's all over the white overlay.

Underneath is a paisley print blue and white tablecloth.

I brought in a bit more blue with the dinner plate plus some lavender to go with the flowers and cabbage plates because it's for St. Patrick's Day!  Corned beef and cabbage, I do love that!

I also used my cabbage placemats with a green and white patterned napkin to complete my
St. Patrick's Day table!

Speaking of the flowers!  I created a free form arrangment with lilies, mums, carnations and filler pieces.  Costo $14.99 can't go wrong!

My Thanksgiving Cactus is in full bloom as seen here in the background.

Wishing you a Blessed and Happy St. Patricks's day!

Tropical Spring Tablescape (T)

Let's jump continents to enjoy a Tropical Spring Tablescape!

These flowers had all the right colors for my tablescpape and I decided to incorporate elephants in with it too!  The dishes, tablecloth and napkins all had a touch of orange.  The vase  is an elephant!

These elephant plates are from World Market a couple of years ago.

I used green stemware and coffee mugs to go with the salad plates.

The flatware is decorated with antiqued silver finish so I used some antique silver napking rings to go along with them. The chargers are from Pier 1, and the dinner plates were a find at Cracker Barrel a long time ago.  The reminded me of the Thread and Berry plates by Juliska so I grabbed them up.  They have no identification on them.  The coffee mugs are from Park Designs, from the Old World Collection.  Green stemware was from One King's Lane many years back.

There were hydrangeas in the floral bouquet but they didn't last long.
Carnations, Alstroemeria, Football Mums, Oriental Lilies and Stock

I hope you enjoyed my Tropical Spring Tablescape!

Still enjoying the amaryllis!
I sure have enjoyed growing the amaryllis this winter season.
It gave me fresh flowers and added color!  They don't have to be just for Christmas!
Now I'll be waiting to see some daffodils and tulips!
