Hoppin around.....

Good Wednesday morning!
I was having my morning coffee and enjoying the sights of the birds flying in and out from the feeders, the squirrels playfully chasing each other and the chipmunks zooming around checking for food everywhere!
This rabbit joined the outdoor party so I grabbed a few pictures.
This is a cottontail rabbit.
Of course they don't stay in one place very long!  I hope he/she isn't eating too many of my plants!  I'll have to do some inspecting!
Spring started out with a bang in March with the very unusual warm up we had. Then it cooled off again and the plants continued to grow but at a very slow rate.  We're still getting frosts at night so it's slow going here!

We have a new tree out back that fell over after some winds.  Dan will cut it down the rest of the way and make more firewood!

It's a beautiful spring morning and I intend to get outside and continue with cleaning up the beds and getting after some weeds!

Hope you are having a great week!

  1. Liz, the rabbits and squirrels are out in full force around here, too. The rabbits rarely get into the backyard because of the fencing; but, the squirrels are fun to watch scampering along the fence line. Can't wait to see your gardens all bloomed out!

  2. I love your yard and deck, Liz. Such cute photos of the bunny. Looking forward to when it is in full bloom. xo

  3. Hi Liz,

Happy Wednesday to you too! A lot of action going on over at your house. As a matter of fact this morning when I was leaving for work I saw two bunnies in my backyard. With the mild winter we had they sure do look chubby this year ... lol. Enjoy your spring clean up. I can't wait to see more pictures of your gardens.

Thank you for your comments! I don’t always get a chance to reply but I do read them!

I enjoy redefining interior spaces by moving things around and reusing decorative items already found in the home. I also enjoy creating tablescapes and an occasional crafting project.
