Frosted tulips!

It seems like these frosts will never end!
I planted these last fall so it's their first time up in my garden.  They've had numerous hits by frosts and have trouped on through it all.
The daffodil heads are bowed down, but they will soon perk up- once again!
I planted three lilacs last fall too...I hope to see them flower soon! You can see two of them here...
I'll take a picture in a few hours when these guys are standing tall again!
I hope to get outside and work some more on cleaning up my garden beds- but I'll have to wait until after noon when hopefully it will feel warmer-It will be about
48 degrees today.
Hope your Saturday is going well!

  1. I know how you feel. The weather has sure been a problem this year. We are back to cold right now. Very pretty what you have though.

  2. I am glad your flowers are taking these frosts well.

My lilac bushes are miniature - not really what I wanted but they bloomed fantastically the first year (2009) and each year it gets less and less - so far this spring (and it was such a mild winter) they look like three round green balls. :( xo

  3. Wow! You're still getting frosts! We had a "cold front" yesterday...67 degrees. LOL! I plan to head out to the nursery in a little while and do some more work out back. This is my time of year!

  4. Hi Liz,

Your tulips look great despite the frosty mornings! It rained here all weekend, but we really needed it. I can't wait to get back in the garden.
