Entryway Table- Deco Shuffling

As I've seen with many other bloggers we are all rejuvenating our decorating around the house.  It seems as though January brings out a sense of renewal- which I think is a very good thing!
This little table is another favorite play area of mine for decorating.  I already had everything here but they were in different places.   I have a link up at the top of my blog for "Interior Decorating" and you'll find this table shown many times.

The candle holders were from Pottery Barn last year. I found them on closeout since they had been discontinued.  I had them in the living room but I don't think I ever showed them before.  The candles come on each evening which creates a nice soothing look.  The lamp that sat here is now part of the living room again from where it originally came from!

I showed this picture frame a while back.  It took a back seat in the closet during the fall through Christmas decorating season.  It's made of a tin material and hand painted with distressing.

The bird cage has used been here for a while but I spruced it up with a different look.   Sorry about the poor lighting- winter has taken over and the sunny days are a bit spread out you might say.

These are some wooden balls I found at a local store.  There are three of them in here along with three faux plants.  I load it upside down and then I fuss with the plant leaves until I'm happy.

I like how this turned out.  This look seems to work really well with the pictures on the wall.  I've had them for years from Ethan Allen.

As I write this my husband is outside clearing snow.  We picked up about 12" during the last three days.  Living in the Great Lakes region we expect this.

We've had it real easy up until now regarding snowfall.  I knew it would catch up with us and so it has.  I will keep myself busy indoors- sorting, arranging and cleaning.

  1. Such a wonderful little table arrangement. I can imagine the cozy feeling it creates when your candles are on in the evening. Very lovely. Your pictures of your outdoors look so much like our own. Stay warm! I don't want to venture out just yet, it is -23 F.

  4. Liz,
Gazing over your Entry Hall table has inspired me to take a second look at mine, as well!!! I love the soft white pillar candle holders with the timed candles!!!
Watching our Weather Channel, I saw that a "Lake Effect" Snow was in your area.

    That's a lot of SNOW!!!
We're still dry and now heading into the upper 40's and 50's over the next few days!!! As usual, I'm waiting on Mother Nature to spread her wand on the Prairie!!!
    Fondly,
