Sunlit Sunday

Well today is the last Sunlit Sunday blog party for this year.  I've been joining the party with my other blog but I thought I would toss together some current scenes of my yard where my gardens are still hidden by the blanket of white.

My garden benches are starting to appear again
When I opened the door I could hear the chickadees tweeting their songs- so nice!

We didn't remove all the snow on the deck this winter.  As you can see we've got a ways to go yet but as soon as it's all melted I know the plants will quickly emerge.  We go from a frozen quiet landscape to full speed ahead in spring!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone will be up to this summer in their gardens!

  1. I much prefer your last view as well. Your present views looks like ours. We woke to another few centimetres of snow this morning, hoping this was winters last hurrah.

  2. Oh, you still have a lot of snow!
But it is the right setting: watching and waiting. We can learn a lot from the cats ;-)
    Have a great springtime :-)

  3. Your last photo of your garden is my favorite, too. Is that a morning glory in the background?

  4. That's a lot of snow. You do have a beautiful garden space with snow and without the snow it's amazing!

  6. You have a lot of snow!! Your snow garden is just beautiful. We had snow just for two days in March. They were quickly melting. That exciting time for me and many photographers in my area had quickly gone! I love your summer garden too. I see how you love your garden.Just pretty!

  11. You really got hammered with snow. It was unreal for us this year too but nothing like you got. We just had snow again Sat. Really hoping this is the end of it all. Feels nice today and tomorrow is to be also. Need to get some things done out there.
