Pocket Full of Fleurs

I ran across this wall pocket that I fell in love
with it immediately.

I imagined it on the wall near my plate rack
It seems to be a good fit

I had plans for this rooster picture
that I posted about a little while back, but I got completely turned off to the price I was quoted to frame it.  I decided I needed to evaluate that idea a lot more.  So for now Mr. Rooster is rolled up and waiting in the aisles for his debut!

I added the word Fleurs
I loaded it up with a combination of greens
and flowers

It would also be great outside in a protected area.

The alstroemeria flowers I bought a week ago are still going strong.
If you know me you know I love flowers!

  1. That is such a darling idea Liz, you did an amazing job on it. I may have to copy this. :)

  2. Love the tin holder, I would have snapped that up too!!! Your flowers still look great to, we need indoor flowers since springs is still so very far away here in Michigan! Laura

  3. Very sweet and the flowers you added make it perfect. So glad your flowers are lasting!

  4. You did a marvelous job of getting that pocket ever so perfectly hung! It's really pretty, and it works so nicely with the prevailing decor!!!

I'm glad to see the alstroemeria is still going full speed ahead! You knew just what to pick to last through some of these harsh winter days!

  5. The tin is very cute and the flowers in it look nice! I like it next to the wall shelf too. You can keep real flowers looking good a lot longer than me!

  6. The pocket is gorgeous, I love it and what a lovely room. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty

  7. I love that dining space, and specially those drapes, but is think I have mentioned that before.
I don't think I have had the chance to say thank you, thank you THANK YOU for hooking me up with Linda, I love my blog design.

  8. Beautiful dining área my friend, so cozy and charming! I love your alstromeria, they are so pretty and so inexpensive here, I buy them on sale in the super market every wednesday and they last very long!
    Thanks for coming sweetie!

  9. Very cute and I bet it will hold many different looks. Aren't alstromerias the best for lasting a long time? I keep them on hand all the time.

  10. I love that wall pocket! It looks so good hanging next to the wall shelf too. Cute idea to write Fleurs on it.

  11. What a pretty way to use the wall pocket- I like the color it adds and the way you used it. Thank you for posting this. :) Gentle Joy

  12. Liz,
Love, LOVE, L O V E the galvanized tin wall pocket, dear friend!
I agree, you've found the perfect place for it against the black cupboard!
Appears there's a bit of "Spring" in your step and your decor!
    Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your comments! I don’t always get a chance to reply but I do read them!
