Happy Birthday and St. Patrick's Day! (T)

I decided to combine a little birthday celebrating with St. Patrick's Day!
My sister Sherry turned 70 on Tuesday and St. Patrick's Day is Friday so I figured I'd combine the two events!

Mixing the Ralph Lauren dinner plates, soup bowls with the green cabbage plate turned out to be a nice combo.  The wavy edge of the dinner plate mimics the edges of the cabbage plates.

I used the Napoleon flatware and some napkins I purchased on Etsy a while back.

I love these clear stemware glasses by Fitz & Floyd (called Trestle) mixed with the shamrock china pieces.

I like these galvanized chargers I got at Michael's a couple of years ago.  They offer a relaxed look and combine nicely with most dishes.

I layered my shamrock lace cloth over a lime green tablecloth.

I scattered shamrocks and gold coins.  The sun was in and out so I did my best to capture some pictures with it!

Can't have birthday celebration without sweets!  I chose cupcakes and cookies so there won't be too many leftovers!

My little leprechauns had to get in the picture too!  They'll have a drink to just about anything!

 More shamrocks for good luck!

There are four of us sisters and I'm the baby.  My birthday is soon to follow and it's a big one too!

Happy Birthday Sis and Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!

  1. Oh, yes...you DO have a birthday coming in just a few days! Even MORE cause for celebration! I sometimes forget that you're the baby of the family because you have "oldest sister wisdom." It's nice that you are celebrating your "big sis's" birthday in such enviable (get it?....cause it's green?) style! Was it a pain growing up, though? Did you have to have dual parties? I had to with my brother, and it KILLED me!!! 😀

    Beautiful table, Madame!
