Today I am meeting Kathleen Cuisine's challenge for her
"All White Fall Dish Challenge"
"All White Fall Dish Challenge"
I'm dedicating this luncheon table to my friend Linda who is undergoing a very critical surgery today.
When I think of Linda I associate her with being very feminine. My challenge was how to keep it feminine, add some fall to it and use all white!
When I saw these soft pink almost lavender mums I fell in love with them. The wine glass picked up on them nicely too!
I'm afraid I blew part of the challenge in that I used this bowl that has a pattern. It has a tad bit of lavender in the pattern and I got hung up on that.
(Sorry Kathleen.)
A simple white dish is used for a sandwich wrap that will be served after the potato soup has been served.
The 2nd bowl is for some peach ice cream! I'm bowl stacking!
A dry riesling is added to go with the luncheon.
This is from a local vineyard here in Traverse City, MI.
I tucked a white towel around the mum to
quickly hide the pot it came in.
The little cherub is keeping vigil for Linda's successful surgery and full recovery.
Thank you again Linda for all your generous help with my blog and for encouraging me to try it!
