Valentine's on the Plate Rack

I always enjoy changing the plate rack for the seasons and holidays.

Found these plates decorated with trees and hearts plates at Pier 1.

I have a little different color scheme going this year for Valentine's Day.

Love birds, hearts and of a course a pink frilly pig!  Everyone has one right? 😉

I spotted her at Cracker Barrel and grabbed her up!

On the kitchen table I set up a little vignette with a pair of salt & pepper shakers, candle and a bud vase.  The bud vase heart has a little hole in the upper side and so I add water with food coloring.  A lace table topper for a little more romantic look.  I just bunch the lace up towards the charger when we eat and then spread it back out when we're done.

My plate rack and table prepped for Valentine's Day!

  1. Hi Liz,
Those heart plates are amazingly awesome. You find the best stuff at Pier 1. I am headed there in the next few days to see what treasures I can find.
    Hugs and Happy New Week.

  7. Those heart tree plates are SO INCREDIBLY CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!! I imagine you could use those for a few other occasions, too, like a special birthday or bridal tea or something sweet like that. They're perfect! I like the way you paired the hues of pink with the kind of minty green. Luscious!!!
