After I took down my Halloween decor on the accent table
I readied it for Thanksgiving

I love this statue of the Indian woman with
the cornucopia.
the cornucopia.
She and the black gourd were from Hobby Lobby
a couple of years ago.
a couple of years ago.
I made up a new arrangement with some dried Indian corn and pine cones and set it on a wooden pedestal.
If you like you can see that same glass bowl used last year with my

I used a thick rubber band to hold them together, then tied the ribbon around it. I wanted to stand the corn up so I stacked the tall pinecones in an upright position to help keep them standing. I loosened the corn husks a bit to give the top more fullness. (I collected those pinecones at my son's new home in Pennsylvania). I tossed in some potpourri filler.

I decided to use my green lantern for a little color and my candle from Pottery Barn. It smells soo good!
I love how candlelight creates such a cozy atmosphere.
This table topper is by April Cornell.
I like that blue accent she included in the design.
It's called "Falling Leaves" they have a larger one with this beautiful fringe on it...you should see it!
By the way if you shop there directly and sign up with your email you can get $10 off on your first purchase! (no I am not compensated for saying that)
I think I can smell the pumpkin pie and turkey already! I really enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and can't wait to share it with my family.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your visit! Our Michaels have had that set up at the check out for about 3 years now and it definitely cuts down on confusion...

A very pretty Thanksgiving/Fall vignette.
ReplyDeleteI was in HL recently and was tempted when I saw the Fall decor marked down, but I keep going. I am trying to declutter instead of accumulate. :)
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend.
The vignette is beautiful - love it in the candlelight! The table topper is just the perfect addition to the vignette you created...such pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty vignette, Liz! I'm not sure where we'll be for Thanksgiving; so, I haven't done a thing! I'll just admire your lovely decor!
