February Blues (T)

Hello everyone!  I'd like to say that it's a blissfully pretty day out there and that
there are signs of spring but alas this is not my case!
So I dreamed of blue skies and sunshine!

My blue sky is this tablecoth.
I got from Williams Sonoma around 2 years ago.
It has a nice weight to it and I love the colors.

The flowers represent the sun!
I had to use faux flowers since the weather outside was not exactly a run to the store day!

These Adelaide Blue 222 Fifth plates are so pretty.
I can hardly wait for spring!

These fleur de lis plates came from One King's Lane several years ago. They don't have any identification on them.

As you can see in the background we have lots of snow!

So there you have it my February Blues!

  1. Lovely as always Liz. We are headed to the ski slopes for a week with my son and his girlfriend so I’m pretty excited! But here in Pittsburgh its the February grays.

    1. Yes the gray days outnumber the sun filled ones don’t they! Have fun on the slopes!

  2. Liz, what a beautiful and peaceful tablescape. I love the mix of blues and various patterns. I am such a fan of 222 Fifth Avenue dinnerware. They always seem to have some stunning patterns. Your table looks to tranquil and ready for a relaxing dinner and conversation that can last for hours. I see a lot of snow in the background for you too. However, your tablescape has me forgetting all about the cold weather outside and has me thinking beautiful surroundings, great food and cozy conversations. Lovely, Liz. The WS tablecloth is so perfect for this. Stay warm!

  3. Liz, so sorry you are having so much snow. It does make for a dreary day. Your sunshine tablescape is so pretty and inspiring. The WS tablecloth is lovely. I love this soft blue. The plates are so pretty and I can see why you chose them. Faux flowers work. A beautiful table to enjoy and stay warm and cozy inside.
