February Blues (T)

Hello everyone!  I'd like to say that it's a blissfully pretty day out there and that
there are signs of spring but alas this is not my case!
So I dreamed of blue skies and sunshine!

My blue sky is this tablecoth.
I got from Williams Sonoma around 2 years ago.
It has a nice weight to it and I love the colors.

The flowers represent the sun!
I had to use faux flowers since the weather outside was not exactly a run to the store day!

These Adelaide Blue 222 Fifth plates are so pretty.
I can hardly wait for spring!

These fleur de lis plates came from One King's Lane several years ago. They don't have any identification on them.

As you can see in the background we have lots of snow!

So there you have it my February Blues!

  1. Lovely as always Liz. We are headed to the ski slopes for a week with my son and his girlfriend so I’m pretty excited! But here in Pittsburgh its the February grays.

    1. Yes the gray days outnumber the sun filled ones don’t they! Have fun on the slopes!

  2. Liz, what a beautiful and peaceful tablescape. I love the mix of blues and various patterns. I am such a fan of 222 Fifth Avenue dinnerware. They always seem to have some stunning patterns. Your table looks to tranquil and ready for a relaxing dinner and conversation that can last for hours. I see a lot of snow in the background for you too. However, your tablescape has me forgetting all about the cold weather outside and has me thinking beautiful surroundings, great food and cozy conversations. Lovely, Liz. The WS tablecloth is so perfect for this. Stay warm!

  3. Liz, so sorry you are having so much snow. It does make for a dreary day. Your sunshine tablescape is so pretty and inspiring. The WS tablecloth is lovely. I love this soft blue. The plates are so pretty and I can see why you chose them. Faux flowers work. A beautiful table to enjoy and stay warm and cozy inside.

  4. What a cheerful table Liz. I have those square blue salad plates and they are among my favorite!
It's been dreary hear too.and we may even get a little snow tomorrow, but not much.

  5. Beautiful blues for your table Liz. The William Sonoma table cloth is so pretty and your choice of dishes is perfect with it. Spring is coming, Soon I hope!

  6. Liz, Your table is truly beautiful. I love it. The centerpiece just sets it off perfectly. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. Liz,
    Gorgeous tablecloth!
I, too, am lovin' your blue and white dinner plates!
For me, that view out the windows is heavenly!
I awoke to a covering of SNOW this morning. . .
just a little bit of Heaven to me!
    Thank you for always inspiring!

  8. Completely PERFECTION. Oh, this is just the mostly lovely!

  9. I love blue and this table is lovely! I like your suggestion that your bright flowers are the sun in the middle of your blue sky tablecloth!

  10. Your February blues are so fresh and pretty -- and that WmSom tablecloth was a wonderful find. It's lovely and hangs so perfectly!

  11. Love your wishful blog header.

  12. Liz,
I adore blue and your February blues are pure perfection! This tablecloth is delightful and oh the plates!!

  13. Your table looks beautiful and the anchor starts with that gorgeous tablecloth. That is BEAUTIFUL!!! Love those plates, too. Have a great weekend- xo Diana

  14. Liz, the tablecloth is truly a beauty. The setting definitely gives a nod to spring that we are all anxiously awaiting. Love the dishes, blue has always been a favorite of mine. Enjoy the weekend!

  15. Ooo Liz, I love those blue and white plates, too! I’m glad you’re using them now, they’re too pretty to wait until spring. This setting will surely cheer you and your hubby during these last (hopefully) days of winter! Zenda

  16. How very pretty! Love how the pattern on the plates mimics the the pattern of the tablecloth. (Love the snow, too!)

  17. Love this tablecloth Liz. I finally figure out a way to bypass my being blocked to come into your blog. So hope this continues. Love the blues. So pretty. You are the queen of tablescapes.
