Cute and Creepy Halloween in the Dining Nook

I switched out a few things and brought in a little Halloween atmosphere to the dining nook.

I saw these little signs at Hobby Lobby and thought they might work on the chandelier.

Of course the new Etagere had to be included.
These three pieces are by Bethany Lowe, the little clown is designed by Mary Engelbreit for Bethany Lowe.  I saw it advertised on Facebook and ordered it.  I used the two in back for last year's (link)- Witches Ball party.

These two little pumpkin cuties have been with me for a while.

They have the cutest little arms and legs.
You can see them in a previous post at this link from 2013 "Come Party at the Graveyard"
and "here" .  I think it's a lot of fun to re-use things like this in different ways.  I rarely do the same thing twice!

Most of this stayed the same.

I switched out some of the plates on the plate rack and added some Halloween accents.

The bobble head scarecrow and owl tea light holders are from Pier 1.

The plates were from Pottery Barn a little while back.

A little creepy added to the cute!

This isn't exactly creepy or cute....but I found it on our weekend trip.  A local person collects real deer antlers (sheds) and made this up.  I'm going to find various ways to use it.  Since everything is so busy above and around the table I'm keeping the centerpiece simple.

A simple tablescape. I'll work on something more for next week!
Placemats- T.J. Maxx

In 2012 I did a fancy tablecscape and it was featured at Between Naps on the Porch
"here" if you care to take a look!

No elaborate details this year...keeping it simple!

  15. I love your area all decorated for Halloween. Unfortunately, my 14 year-old daughter loves to spread it all over the house. I agree with the Little Yellow Corner Store's comments that the signs are perfect for your chandelier. I love the PB plates and all your black display spaces. Joni

Your cute and creepy vignettes are beautifully styled for a wonderful gathering of grown ups who would definitely enjoy their scary but sweet appeal! I'd claim the seat closest to the etagere!
