Happy Easter

Wishing you a Happy Easter.

I kept my decorating for Easter simple this year.
The sun was shining in from the living room so I caught a few pictures.

The bunnies and vase are new.  I saw them in a picture and had to hunt them down!

Once again I used the basket of flowers I created several years ago and added a couple of bunnies for fun!

 Wishing you a Happy Easter!

Almost Easter!

I made a couple of changes to my kitchen dinette area.  I switched up what was in the basket and added a table topper that was my mother's.

Before I had made up this little basket with carrots and a candle.

I picked up a hydrangea at the grocery store and made it my center piece.

The eggs are from MacKenzie Childs.  I bought them on sale over the past two years and they really are nice!

The table topper has a different medallion in each square and each square is intriquitely attached to the lace.

A lot of detail in the lace.  It's probably at least 20 years old and I'm imagining it was an import but definitely hand made.

On the credenza I added the caarrots that had been in the basket and I think it perked up the arrangment!

Thank you for stopping by and I do hope you will find a way to enjoy Easter during this time our country is experiencing such difficulties!

Bunnies On The Move (T)

Welcome to the Easter Tablescape blog hop!
Once again Chloe of Celebrate and Decorate is hosting and the links for the other bloggers are down below.

My bunnies are on the move!  They're collecting easter eggs and carrots!

I created this basket of flowers with a variety of tulips, hydrangeas, lily of the valley, a magnolia and some filler.

The hydrangeas I chose are a deep pink/coral and the yellow tulips really pop!

The dishes are my fine china by Noritake called Yoshino, and the cute little bunny plates are by Ciroa but they have no pattern name (I got them at Home Goods).  I knew when I saw them they'd go well with my china pattern.

 Isn't this a sweet face!

Arent' these napkin rings the cutest!  I knew as soon as I spotted them at Pier 1 I had to have them.

I like how the plate has a lattice design along the edge and is repeated in the pattern of the napkins and the placemats.

The tablecloth was another find at Home Goods and is by Martha Stewart.  It's a good neutral color and will go with any Easter table setting.

This table runner had a nice embroidery design which you can use for spring or summer.  I liked the color of green and figured it go well with the china.

So Bunnies On the Move starts with this pair of bunnies heading to make deliveries!  I stuck that carrot on the front of the bike (for a little incentive!).

I just poked the carrot into this metal piece and it snugged right up.  This bunny set on the bike was made by FAO Schwarz.  I also added the ribbons.

And here's another bunny on the move!  She's sporting about in an adorably crafted car and delivering eggs and munching on carrots!  I nestled some mini carrots around her back.

Sugar and creamer for our coffee.

The sun was cooperating and lightened up the room so I could get some good pictures!

Easter Goodies Basket

I gathered some goodies for my Grandson and filled a basket.
The lamb is from Hallmark.  I found a little bath toy and a couple of books for him too.

I snuck some clothing in on the back side.
(I should've neatened things up for the pictures but I was in a hurry)

I found these neat bags at Michael's that fit with ample room

No chocolate bunnies or candies since he's so young.

Easter Goodies- a little fun for the little ones!

Easter Floral Egg Basket

I know Easter is a ways off but all the stores are stocking products now and I was in the mood to create something.  I got out my supplies and loaded up the kitchen table to work on it.

I found the egg at TJ max which started the ball rolling.  The basket is from Michael's and the florals that I bought for it.  I always save the styrofoam to reuse.  I flipped over the green piece and had a fresh side.

I took some wire and poked it through the basket to tie down the foam which I also needed to help the clay pot sit higher and for the flowers to poke into.  I hot glued the clay pot to the foam.

I chose yellow and pink for my primary colors and some grassy stems.  They have 40% off on all of it right now and the supplies are good.

I poked the grass stems into the center.

My initial thought was to set the egg on top of the grass but the grass became to flat and then I had a problem securing the egg so I pulled the grass stems out and hot glued the egg to the clay pot and then arranged the flowers and grass around it.

I wanted it to look like the bunny is pushing the cart through a field of grass and flowers.

I think this will be a cute centerpiece and or accent on a table.

All because I bought the egg!
