Spring Tablescape 2023 (T)

Is it spring yet?

Even though the ground is white at our house I've decided to head right into spring!

I got a new tablecloth from Williams Sonoma that prompted me to create a spring tablescape.

These candlesticks are new from The Enchanted Home.   The runner is from Home Goods and has two sides to it.

I created these little flower bouquets a few years ago and decided they'd be perfect to use again.

Here you can see them altogether.  The lantern is part of a pair that I've had a long time and seemed fitting for this design layout.  It can be moved to the end of the table during dining.

I paired the coffee cups that go with the dinner plate.  Love how all these colors worked together.  I ordered the chargers from Oriental Trading called Dusty Blue.

The napkins have rabbits on them too!

Some blue flatware that also fit in well!

These rabbit plates were from Pier 1 Imports several years ago before the closed their stores.  I sure miss shopping there!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoyed my Spring Tablescape!

Embracing Spring! (T)

Hello everybody!  Today I am joining another blog hop hosted by
Chloe of Celebrate and Decorate.
Today is our "Spring Tablescape" blog hop and you will find the links to all the other blog posts down below at the end of my tablescape.

Welcome to my Embracing Spring tablescape!
I've embraced some spring colors like pink, green and blue!

I wanted to add a touch of crystal to my tablescape so I included crystal candlesticks and stemware.

I created the florals for the blue and white containers that I recently found at Michaels.

The blue and white is what I actually began with and then I expanded on it!

I grouped together the crystal and floral containers surrounding them with some fern fronds and ivy.

The pink bowl ties in nicely with the tablecloth, the green plate and placemat tied into the green florals and the blue and white dishes tied in with the floral containers.
I like how this pink and white plaid tablecloth made for a great background and the simple striped white and blue napkins brought in some more blue which I accented with pearly napkin rings.

What a great day.  I opened the door to let more light in and the sun was shining so nicely it really feels like spring!

Thank you for visiting my Embracing Spring tablescape!

Glass Mosaic Sofa/Chair Table

I found this little gem at Pier 1 a few weeks ago and thought I'd share it with you.
Call me silly but I am thrilled with this find!
I spotted it at the store and took my husband back in the evening and he agreed 100% it was just what I needed!

I chose the glass mosaic version for two reasons.  First I knew the colors would work but more importantly it had to be the right height (this one is 25" tall).  I went over to one of their sofas and brought this over to it to check the height- I knew right then it was perfect.

It slides right under as deeply as you want and in the evenings I sit at the corner of the sofa positioned to see the tv and I use my iPad to check on blog posts and make comments or do on-line shopping.

I feel very spoiled with this but my wrist and arm would get fatigued holding the iPad so this an answer to a problem I was having!  It's large enough to also use it like a tv tray and very stable.  A lap-top would fit on there very nicely too.

I am not compensated for this but I wanted to share it since I think it's perfect!
There are several versions of these C-tables as they call them but like I said this one was the best height and coloring for me.  I'm including a link to their web-page showing all of the choices "here"

Flower Power Luncheon

Welcoming summer with a Flower Power inspired luncheon!

It's a 60's thing!

Building the platform for this tablescape I chose a flowery placemat.

I blended some classic blue and white with a splash of florals for a fresh summery look.

The cut flowers are from my gardens.

 Bearded Iris and Lilacs

I was inspired to use these glass floral salad plates since my flowers have similar colors!  The flowers were cut today.

Of course I had to include the birds and bees!

Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime....
Another 60's thing

Welcoming summer with "Flower Power"!
