Sometimes it's the littlest things that give you pleasure!
We went to the Farmer's Market last Saturday and I decided to take a video of this man playing guitar with a battery operated amplifier. The sound isn't what you'd call awesome but I thought it was neat that he was there. It was really chilly too so I applaud him for sitting there doing this. The week before there was a gal playing a violin!
On Monday I posted about my "deckorating" as you can see "here"
Wouldn't it be fun to decorate for a barn party!
Then I posted about my topiary planters for fall "here"
This the 2nd year I've used this basket Dan helped me create.
This was the planter loaded with the supertunias before I dug them out to do the topiary.
When we finished at the Farmer's Market last Saturday we went to the local farm and lawn supply store and I saw this window planter that I was impressed with and had to take a picture. It was windy and overcast but I couldn't ignore it! It's loaded with different types of sweet potato vine, coleus, purple fountain grass and licorice plant. I may have to try something like this for next year!
One of my window planters with sweet potato vine. It can be aggressive and just about choked out my geraniums.
I like doing tablescapes like a hobby and this week there was a challenge issued to do something with purple and fall accents but no orange which was hard to keep out. This post can be seen "here"
I brought in my succulent planter to save it from the cold and upcoming frost. This began because of two succulents gifted to me by my daughter. I hope I can keep it going through the winter!
My succulents will hang out here with the Christmas Cactus which is also a succulent. Keeping them up on a stand away from the heater helped a lot. I get the morning sun here and it seems to be just enough.
Time for more apple pie! The apples are coming in strong here this year!
I hope to get out and visit an orchard and get some fresh cider!
Have a great weekend everybody!
