Finally- the rods up and
the curtains are hung.
I like the overall lighter look which was my goal.
I've moved the furniture into another arrangement. If you've followed me for any length of time that is no surprise!
Their coloring was an easy blend with
the room.
I'm letting them hang and relax and then I'll probably have to steam them to remove any further wrinkles.
For store bought curtains they're not bad. I just couldn't justify the cost of custom made curtains.
I snooped on the Lowe's website at every single curtain rod they have to offer. I found out that there is a lot more to choose from than in the stores so I'm glad I looked. These are 1 1/2" rods.
I knew I wanted a rod with some substance and I generally
knew how I wanted the finials to look. I took a chance on these amber
colored ones because I thought they'd offer a little more interest.
