Sunshine and Breakfast!

Join me for breakfast....the sun is greeting us!

I cut some of my Annabelle Hydrangeas, added in some daisies and foxtail fern from my garden and placed them in my cherry pitcher.

I found the tablecloth on Ebay...
Moda Vintage Style - "Fruit Cocktail"
It's very much like the one I used "here" on my tablescape Cheery Cherry Blue from a year ago!

The white bowl is part of my new everyday dishes called Antique White by Mikasa

Bees abuzz building their honeycombs...
Mason mugs from Younker's can be used for hot or cold beverage.
The bowls are great for some cubed pieces of fruit like cantaloupe which is my favorite!

The cherry pitcher has the same pattern as the square platter.  We like to fill the platter with the breakfast food to serve from.  The flowers are easily relocated.

Teddy is never far away... always making sure I know he's around!

Perfect time to eat- let's dig in!

Plaid Tidings to You!

I trust most of you are done decorating, settled in and are relaxing by now. I'm also done so I thought I'd put together a tablescape.
I began with the plaid tablecloth that was from T.J. Maxx this year.
I tend to like things cozy and a relaxed for the kitchen nook area especially at Christmas!

I brought out these Holiday dishes that go with the Italian Countryside dishes that we use everyday.  I usually mix them in with the everyday stuff through the month of December.

I chose the rattan chargers to keep the look relaxed.

There are four patterns and coffee mugs with matching floral designs on the inside.

The centerpiece is a compilation of a cake stand turned upside down, dressed with red beads, topped with a creamy white charger and a cloche containing a small sleigh with ornaments and snow.  The gold twine balls were added to form a wreath.
(The charger used to be an odd color of green that I never liked so I changed it to Rust-Oleum Heirloom White)

The charger can be lifted off and the cake stand turned over and can act as a platter holder for breakfast, brunch or lunch!

So much glare makes it nearly impossible to take a good picture.  Susan at Between Naps on the Porch recently showed these cute little sleigh ornaments from Walmart at this "post".  I went to our store to get some but they were in sad shape.  I only bought one but it ended up working well inside this cloche.

Up above I decorated the chandelier as I do every year but with new burlap accents.
The little bells were from Walmart and the ornaments from T.J.Maxx

I rested the burlap ribbon up on it's side to show the Merry Christmas and added some undulation.

I'm trying not to show you the whole area because I haven't done a post on the decorating I've done in this area....that will be next!
