Greetings everyone! It's time for the weekend again! YAY...
I was over visiting Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads and she has created the cutest garden themed Christmas display. See the link below.
I had set up the window in the kitchen with a small Garden theme but hadn't thought about sharing it. After seeing Jane's post I figured I'd go ahead and show it!
If you follow me you know I like to garden - flowers that is... so I decided to incorporate the few garden related ornaments I have into my window that views out to my garden area.
I found this crazy grape vine tree last year on clearance. I like the rustic look it offers and it works well with my theme.
I used a few sprays of pine branches with pine cones and some red berries to add some earthy texture. This is a gardener's bag...
A little greenhouse...
Watering can...
A wheel barrow...
Another wheel barrow...
These are my Amaryllis that took off like crazy and the one is about to bloom! The one on the left is fake but I decided to put them together for now. Usually when I plant them I'm too late and they bloom way after Christmas. These guys were ready to grow and grow they did! It's barely been a month since I planted them! My Christmas Cactus is starting to bloom too so perhaps I'll be able to group them together for a family photo!
Have a wonderful weekend! Ours promises to be a warmish one again and no snow!!
This is much different than last year so I remain optimistic about how this winter will go!
