October Highlights - Kitchen

October has arrived!  Fall brings on warm and inviting smells warming our homes and senses!
I've pulled out my fall placemats which really warms things up!

I  pulled out my MacKenzie Childs and chose to decorate my bureau with the bulk of my collection.

I left my candlesticks in place and just added the owl and pumpkins.   I kept it simple but colorful!

My MacKenzie Childs cake platter came in handy to display a pumpkin and I surrounded the base with a leaf wreath and some autumn berry picks.

I placed a couple of mixed fall picks to enhance these pumpkins.

I can hardly believe October has arrived.  September went by in a flash!  I hope winter does too!  Haha!

  1. Looks so pretty Liz. I hope this fall will slow down and not move out so fast. We all know what is coming after fall leaves :( Happy Friday have a great weekend. xoxo Kris

  2. Liz, your collection looks beautiful on your sideboard! Love the pumpkin with the bittersweet on the pedestal. Those placemats are gorgeous. Happy Octboer!

  3. Pecan bourbon scent? That sounds like something I’d definitely like!!!! I have a pecan coffee syrup. I’ll add some to a glass of bourbon and see how it all works out!😁 That owl is SO cool! You have a really nice collection of the Mackenzie Childs. I like al the pieces you have, and their pumpkins are SO pretty. I remember when I owned my store and was able to get it at cost. Those were the days!🙄 It seems almost impossible that October is upon us already. I’m with you…winter doesn’t need to hang around very long!!!!!!! Have a great weekend!

  4. It all looks fabulous. the Mackenzie Childs pumpkins and owl look perfect for fall. Great idea putting some on your candlesticks. The bittersweet is a favorite. Time is flying by so fast. Happy weekend Liz.

  5. I love your fall details, Liz, Your table looks cozy and inviting. Happy fall!

  6. This looks beautiful, Liz. Lots of warmth and color and a good deal of cozy, too. I would spend a lot of time in this room!
