Late Summer Kitchen Decorating

I've swapped out the cherries for some summery florals.

I've had the floral plates for several years and I found the two accent vases in my stash so I decided to incorporate them.  Summer's not over in this house just yet!

I recently got this Polish Pottery vase with florals and hummingbirds.  It was a quick sale once I saw the hummigbirds!

I love the detail in it and fortunately for us the store was having a sale that included their Polish Pottery which greatly helped the bottom line!

I believe I bought these little vases at Hobby Lobby last year.

I hope you are enjoying this last month of summer.  I know some of you are baking in the heat and can't wait for fall.  Soon enough it will be September and then I'll start to feel like decorating for fall!

  2. Beautiful. I for one am not getting excited for fall decor or the season, as much as I love it. I'm afraid the Covid Coop Up will have me going bonkers once I can't get outside much.

  3. Liz, I love the vignette , and how the yellow and blue pieces pick out the colors in the dish. I am going to cling to summer. I do not want to even think of it as leaving . Not yet. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo, Susie

  4. You know me I am a summer girl and I love fall just not yet! Our falls are such a crap shoot with sometimes being very short and then you know what comes after that ugh!!! I am enjoying these last days of summer. Hoping September into November will be a nice fall. I see all the fall stuff coming out and just cannot go there yet. Your late summer decor is soooo pretty. xoxo Kris

  5. Liz, I love the Polish pottery vase---what a beautiful piece. Your summer decor looks happy and that's what we all need now! I used to love summer but must admit the older I get the less I enjoy the heat.

  7. What a beautiful vase Liz. I love how you are always changing things up. We've had lots of rain this month and it's been a bit less hot and humid the past couple of days. The hot weather hear seems to just shut off at the end of August, which I'm thankful for!
