Golden Sunshine!

At this time of year with all the sunflowers available I always add some to my decorating.  I put this artificial group together in a new tall green glass vase I found at my favorite store up in Petoskey.

I believe these are a "Teddy Bear" sunflower.  I learned about them on the internet and their uniqueness drew me right to them!  I spotted these at "Monarch" in Petoskey and had to grab some since I've never seen them anywhere else.  I added a cluster of lambs ear for fill.

I love the fringy fullness!

The big cherry blossom jar came from "The Enchanted Home" blog.  She has a whole line of blue and white porcelain.  I really like this deep blue color and got a pretty good buy on it.  She runs a special before the stock comes in to her warehouse and offers a good discount.  After they arrive they be found on her "shop" page but then the prices are higher.  You can follow her on  Facebook and her blog to watch for the specials.  (I am not compensated- just sharing info)

The plate is part of a set of four that I have from Bombay and the elephant and bird came from Hobby Lobby.

  3. Sunflowers are one of my favorite happy blossoms, Liz. Such a cheerful welcome to your entryway! The blue and white along with the yellow of the sunflowers is perfect. Also, your mirror is lovely. ♥
