Kitchen Dining Area 1st Summer Edition

While I shared my Cherry Garden Brunch tablescape the other day I craftily made sure you couldn't see the background with my decorative accents.  πŸ˜‰
I wanted to start a summery design and this is what I came up with.

With cherries on my mind I decided these dishes were just what I needed. They are actually made of stainless steel with an enamel coating.

As I explained in my previous post that anything cherry related is marketed in this area very heavily but we don't have a Pottery Barn so when I saw these I ordered them immediately (last year)!  The blue and white dishes behind them are a favorite also from Pottery Barn called Puebla.  Together these dishes provided a cheerful summery red, white and blue theme!

Not long ago I staged my creamy white pitcher collection on the bottom shelf and I've liked it so much I haven't wanted to change it.

On the right is my Γ©tagΓ¨re and I only made one change on it.

While in the basement storage area I was browsing through my silk plant collection and I ran across this enamel ware style bucket that I got from Cracker Barrel a couple of years ago.  It was perfect for my red, white and blue theme.   Red Geraniums, blue Gerbera Daisies and white Queen Anne's Lace completed the look.

When I was at Hobby Lobby back in early April I saw these blue and white dishes and couldn't resist (especially at the price they were plus 50% off!).  I chose 3 designs knowing they were going to be on this plate rack that only holds 3 dishes.  The white scalloped dinner plates behind them are a Ralph Lauren set called Sophia.  Every so often our T. J. Maxx has some RL dishes and the prices can't be beat. 😊

This is my favorite of the three.

So there you have my Kitchen Dining Area 1st Summer Edition!

Happy June 1st!

  6. I am going to pack up and send you one of our Pottery Barns! It’s one of the places I love to stroll for inspiration. I won’t usually buy anything unless it’s on sale or clearance, but it’s still fun to just take it all in! I love dishes that are enamel coated. So easy to keep up! The cherry ones are extra cool!!!πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’
