Chipmunk Cuteness and Boots

It's been a quiet several days.  I had given up for the summer on re-staining the deck but Dan decided to go for it so all of my garden plants have been semi-evacuated.

We'll give the surface an extra day to cure and then put things back in place.

He stained up to the lawn furniture so about 2/3rds of it got done.  Last night he finished which is actually the first picture.

My garden boots that usually set on the steps by the deck went for a walk...

The diascia was flowering like crazy but just slowed down.  Usually the boots are full or orange and yellow blooms!

Earlier last week I was sitting on a chair near the fairy garden and a little chipmunk stopped by for a visit.  I had my iPhone on hand and felt lucky to get this little tid bit of cuteness! Just click to play the short video.

This is why my stuff gets knocked over a lot!  As long as they don't start digging up my plants I'll be okay with their visits!

Hope you are having a nice week so far!
