Woodland Tree 2015

For about 5 years now I've been using this pencil tree for a woodland themed Christmas Tree.

It fits in this small area very nicely and it's the easiest ever tree to decorate!

This is the "head" owl…he watches over all of the woodland creatures.

The metal sign ornaments came from Michael's this year but everything else I already had.

I wove in these garlands made of pine cones and cinnamon sticks.

I have collected various birds, owls, woodland creatures and bird houses for the tree.

The wicker tree collar worked perfectly for this one.

Next post and the last of my Holiday decorating is my dining table area.

I love your pencil Woodland Tree and seeing it through the ages as well. I love how it embraces nature's creatures, so festive, natural and beautiful!
Thank you too, for your encouraging words!

  2. So pretty! I went to Pier 1 and bought a tree collar like yours after seeing it on an earlier post. Love it -- thanks for the tip! Your plaid ribbon is a great idea, too.

  3. This tree is very pretty with all your woodland creatures hanging out. Adore the owl looking over things, hope he realizes it's an important job, LOL. The signs distributed around are a great touch. Like the addition of that wonderful ribbon in your tree basket.

  7. Love your woodland theme. We bought a slim tree, but not as slim as yours. I have a few more posts before the 25th. Cleaning and cooking are on my list for the next several days. Sheila
