The November race begins!

I was enjoying the gorgeous morning the other day and decided I'd capture a few pictures of it.
The sun rises and casts a fiery glow on the leaves!

We've had a perfect autumn and Halloween night was fantastic!

This was a house downtown that I thought was so cute!

See the skeletons in the wagon!

Halloween night downtown on one of the popular streets for kids to do their trick or treating.  These pumpkins were about 3 ft. in diameter.  There was quite the party going on out back where you see the brighter lights.

You can click on my little video I took.
Everyone was in costume and there was great party music!

Back to November... most of the leaves are down but  since it rained for several days we're waiting for them to dry so they'll be easier to remove.

This week we're expecting warm temps and fairly dry weather so we will have to get all this cleaned up and put away now.   As you can see we have a lot of leaves to contend with!

I spent Sunday taking down my Halloween decorations in the house and loaded up a box up of goods to go to Goodwill.  Ready for a new look!

So the race begins- getting things stored and readied for winter, then Thanksgiving will be here before we know it and then Christmas!

  5. Hi Liz, such glorious photos of autumn glory! The trees are glowing! What great Halloween decorations, I love the wagon. Those glorious trees do come with a price, clean up. We are going through the same thing now with our crepe myrtles loosing all their leaves. Lots of rain and we are waiting to. November here is time to pull the house together and prepare for Thanksgiving and I'm already thinking Christmas, I love to start early and have more time to enjoy the season.
    Enjoy the week………...

  6. GREAT pictures, Liz. It is really beautiful at your place---outside and in! We have leaves coming down like crazy now, too, and hopefully, they will finish up in the next week or so---although I hate to see them go.

That is a GREAT looking house in town and fun party, too, I bet. I have the back of my car filled with stuff for Goodwill, too. sigh...time to "let go". xo Diana
