Plantes Fleurs

~Plants Flowers~

Found this cute little tin at Michaels.

I knew I had some miniature potted silk plants at home and I figured they might just fit in it.  I was doing some laundry and I decided I'd go ahead and put this together.

Messy!!  LOL...
I really do need a better "craft" room!
I could only get two in there but that's ok!
I stuffed some moss in there for filler and bam I'm done!

I tried this up on the plate rack but the tulips were too tall so
for now their residing here.

I seem to have a spring garden in bloom already!

I pulled out some small cookbooks and stacked them in a basket and
plunked down my rooster with the antique bowl full of pine cones.
These are cookbooks I picked up at specialty shops, craft shows, or church bazaars.

It's been a beautiful day- full of sun and temps
in the upper 30's.  For us that's a nice warm up- anything above
freezing is a good thing!

See out there by the bird feeders? Dan went out there and had to dig out the snow because it was getting so high the squirrels were almost able to jump up to the bird feeders.  Don't worry they get plenty of fallout that's on the ground.

I hope your day has been great too!

  5. I really need to get to Michaels. That planter is so cute, and your flowers look so pretty in it. Is your Amaryllis (?) in front of the window faux or real? It's so pretty. laurie

  6. I saw that cute tin at Michael's the other day at 40% off and almost bought it. I then thought about the wrath of Ramon and decided against it. I LOVE what you've done with it!!! Those flowers look SO REAL!!! You've been batting 1000 on those silk flowers, girl!

You and I BOTH need a craft room. Let's get on Dan and Ramon about that. Make it a dual effort! :-)

  8. Hi Liz! Oh, what a cute little tin and you did good with the arrangement! I didn't realize it was a little bitty one. How sweet. The snow is gorgeous at your place but I know you must be getting tired of it by now! It's it something how the sun comes out but the snow doesn't melt? :) I love your new blog header too!
    Be a sweetie,

  9. My goodness, I've never seen so much snow! It's almost to the top of your deck rails! It's pretty though. I like the little metal planter you found at Michaels. They have some nice decorative items and I often forget to check there for those The little flowers look right at home in the new planter.
