Harvest Blessings...

I put this fall display together with items I purchased at Hobby Lobby, my first ever visit to one.  I know a lot of people prefer natural vs. artificial, but in these cases I like the artificial....it won't die off and get ugly and it's reuseable....

These are the supplies I started with, a glass plate- painted from underneath with a copper finish. A bag of orange colored moss, a few artificial branches, some ceramic  pumpkins, stacked pumpkins on a stick, and candles.  I only used one candle, turned out to be too many items!

This is the final result....

This is the backside view...

The use of artificial branches loaded with pumpkins, berries and leaves give a nice full affect with texture- best thing about it, is I can change my mind and re-use each item in a different way!  I like to play with the branches, bend them into just the right spots and get the best look out of them!
For now it's on my end table, as Thanksgiving nears it will end up on the dining table!

  6. Your vignette is gorgeous. I love Hobby Lobby and you are right this last a lot longer than real. I try to only buy stuff that looks real. Yours looks natural and I love it. Thanks so much for coming by. Always good to find new blogs with the same style.
